I’ve often heard the term ‘some people’…I’m sure you have too. Many a time I’ve been part of a conversation where ” some people just dont get it!”. Here are a few other terms.
Some people just don’t understand.
Some people will always just be negative.

Some people are just bad.

Some people have no compassion.
Some people have no kindness.
Some people have no patience.

Some people dont know when to stop.
I’m pretty sure you can think of some of your own ‘some people’ quotes. I’m also pretty sure that almost everyone one of us fit into atleast one of the above quotes. I mean, we’re human and we do make mistakes.
Today I was thinking that I dont want to be a “some people” anymore. It’s draining for those around me and it’s especially draining for me.
I want to be ‘that person’.

That person who totally gets it!
– I mean life can be hard not just for us but for everyone we know…

That person who understands beyond ones age! If you sincerely ask God to grant you wisdom, He will give it to you…the bible says, ask and you shall receive. “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.  For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.
Matthew 7:7‭-‬8 NIV
The bible also says to have faith the size of a mustard seed.He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”
Matthew 17:20 NIV

I want to be that person who takes a moment to think before an argument starts. I want to be the person to give grace to the taxi driver driving in and out of traffic, not because he deserves it but because my heart deserves the peace from giving it! I want to be the person who loves more than they have the day before.

I want to be that person who is filled with so much kindness and patience and compassion that people will ask why am I like that and the answer I can give them will be JESUS!

I want to be that person who exercises self control in all that I do, I want to be that person who knows when to stop!

I want to be that person who doesnt just quit, i want to be that person who tries again and again and again, I want to be that person who perseveres!

I don’t want to be that person who hold grudges, I want to be that person who forgives, over and over again if I have too, because that is what Jesus wants me to do!
